The G. van Setten & Zn. Nursery was founded in 1962 in a town called Dodewaard. In 1979 Arend van Setten joined the company of his father, Gerrit van Setten, and so it became a family business.
Since 2013 the nursery is settled in a new location in Ochten, directly located near the A15 freeway and Opheusden, which is known to be the avenue tree center of Europe.
We are specialists in the cultivation of park, avenue, ornamental and fruit trees and own a full land nursery of 13 hectares of fertile clay soils in the Betuwe.
Our trees are very much suitable for potting and lining out. In harvesting season (fall, winter and spring) we deliver our trees directly from our own nursery with clean roots or with clod in sizes 6-8 to 14-16 among other widths if necessary.
Thanks to our network within the avenue tree center in Opheusden, we deliver top quality trees.
We deliver trees both in the Netherlands as abroad and we take full care of the logistic transportation from our nursery to the customer’s front lawn.
